Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The Holy Cross Catholic School (HCCS) Executive Board would like to welcome you to our school! As the parent/guardian of a HCCS student, you are automatically a member of the PTO. No registration or payment of dues is required.
The PTO’s mission is to establish a close relationship between home and school by helping parents to become involved in the school community. It is our belief that the team effort of parents and teachers offers the best possible learning environment for our children. Participation through attendance at PTO meetings gives you a voice. You help decide what we do as a group and where our money should go. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome!!
Volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment. Whatever your time schedule and interests, we need you! We have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day, and even from home. Becoming active is easy – and it really makes a difference. Remember, PTO meetings, as well as any activities you help with, count toward your 50 required yearly service hours.
All meetings will be held at 5:30 PM in the Middle School building unless otherwise announced.
Watch the calendar for reminders! PTO newsletters will be sent home with students and will include minutes of meetings, future meeting dates, upcoming events and other PTO news.
As a way to promote the many businesses owned by our schools’ families, we have created a Business Guide. Please show your support by patronizing these businesses. Disclaimer: LCCS is in no way responsible for any dealings conducted by these businesses. If you would like to have your business included in the business guide, please email us.
Below are some ongoing activities that we have at HCCS to help us raise money at no cost to parents. Please help us with these!
Box Tops - please clip and save “Box Tops for Education” from many products such as cereal, tissues. etc. We have contests between the classrooms several times a year. Help your child’s class and help the school! More information on products that have box tops or other ways to get bonus box tops can be found at www.boxtops4education.com.
Campbell’s Soup labels – these are also on Goldfish cracker bags and Spaghettios
Price’s Creamery, milk jug caps.
Albertson’s Community Partner Cards - HCCS receives at least 1% of all sales! Please hand these out to any friends or family members who shop at Albertson’s. Just scan the card at checkout and HCCS receives money!
We’re glad that you have chosen HCCS for your child’s education and look forward to working with you! If you have any questions or ideas for the upcoming school year we would love to hear from you.
