Congratulations!! St. Mary’s Volleyball defeated Las Montanas this weekend! They are now 2-0 on the season! Good Job ladies, Mr. Padilla, and Coach Madewell! Thank you: Teachers, students, and parent volunteers for helping with the concession!

Thank You: Parents, volunteers, teachers, and Coach Garcia for last week’s Walk-A-thon. Thank you to Jennifer Han (Professional Boxer) and NMSU Women’s Soccer team for joining us! Students may still turn in money. Deadline is Friday, September 28.

Saturday, September 22nd: Join us in walking with our two floats in the La Gran Fiesta Parade. Meet in staging area (City Hall parking lots, 700 N. Main, next to Campo Street 1pm-2:30 staging time). Looking Ahead: The Lavender Week Committee is hosting a Bake Sale on Friday, October 5th during dismissal. Proceeds from the Bake Sale will go toward supporting CARE (Cancer Aid Resource and Education), which is a local organization that provides support and care for those with cancer. Please prayerfully consider supporting in any way that you can – donating baked goods or volunteering to help out! Service hours will be given for donations and volunteers. Mark Your Calendars: Saturday, October 6th from 1pm-3pm, Oñate High School: Mr. Galaz will be boxing (five rounds) against local celebrity and professional boxer Austin “No Doubt” Trout. (More details to come) Entrance fee will be $5, all proceeds to go to C.A.R.E. (All part of Lavender Week).
